Eagle Leasing is excited to announce the acquisition of the container rental assets of Boxwheel Trailer Leasing in Metro-Detroit, expanding our storage container services throughout southeastern Michigan.
The acquisition includes Boxwheel’s fleet of standard and high-cube storage containers, related handling equipment, customer rental agreements, and its Woodhaven, Michigan yard. This new location puts Eagle Leasing equipment and people closer to customers throughout the Metro Detroit area.
Boxwheel built its Detroit-area container rental business alongside its trailer leasing operations, serving industrial, retail, and other commercial customers. Its storage container fleet will now become part of the Eagle Leasing network, adding more equipment and local resources to support customers across southeastern Michigan.
What Does the Boxwheel Acquisition Mean for Customers?
For current Boxwheel container customers, the goal is simple: a seamless transition with no interruption in service, now backed by the fleet and resources of Eagle Leasing.
Customers will continue to have access to the storage containers they rely on while gaining the support of Eagle Leasing’s broader network. The addition of the Woodhaven yard also puts equipment closer to Metro Detroit customers, helping us provide faster deliveries and more responsive local service.
