Our History
In the 1960s, Irving Eagle and his three sons — Louis, Alvin, and Morty — began their careers with Strick Trailers, then the nation’s leading trailer manufacturer. Their mission was simple: provide top-quality trailers to trucking companies throughout the Northeast. Recognizing an opportunity to build something of their own, the Eagle family founded Eagle Leasing in 1967 in Orange, Connecticut.
What began as a small, family-run trailer leasing operation has grown into a leading provider of storage containers, mobile offices, semi-trailers, and on-site storage solutions across the Eastern United States and Midwest.
Today, Eagle Leasing serves customers ranging from residential and construction to industrial and commercial sectors. With a fleet of more than 20,000 units and strategically located facilities across key markets, the company combines local service expertise with the scale and operational strength of a unified regional platform. While our roots began in storage and road trailers, our offerings have expanded to include flatbeds, storage containers, office trailers, ground-level office units, and a wide range of on-site storage solutions — meeting the evolving needs of customers across every market we serve.
