Dock-Height Access on a Single Axle The 28ft trailer sits at standard dock height on a single axle, making it easy to integrate directly into a loading dock for efficient forklift loading and unloading. With 1,978 cubic feet of capacity and room for up to 14 pallets, it handles a meaningful volume of inventory in a compact footprint.
Choice of Door Types Available with swing doors for maximum vertical clearance or roll-up doors for seamless dock integration. Choose the configuration that best matches how your team loads and unloads.
Durable Aluminum Construction Rugged aluminum roof and steel siding protect your inventory from harsh weather while keeping the trailer light enough to reposition on-site as your needs change.
Secure Locking Compatible with our Eagle Lock and glad hand locks for layered security on high-value or sensitive inventory.
Fits Where Larger Trailers Cannot At 28 feet, this trailer works in tighter spaces and on smaller sites where a 48 or 53 foot trailer would be impractical. You get real storage capacity without the access limitations that come with a full-size unit.
The Right Size for Smaller Operations If you do not need the volume of a larger trailer, the 28ft unit gives you exactly what you need without paying for space you will not use. Ideal for smaller job sites, seasonal overflow, and businesses managing moderate inventory volumes.
Move It On-Site as Your Needs Change Unlike storage containers, trailers can be repositioned on-site when needed. Shift from one dock bay to another or move the trailer as your operation evolves. Eagle Leasing handles all moves.
Protect Your Inventory with Confidence Weather-resistant construction keeps your contents dry and secure. Add Contents Insurance or a Damage Waiver for complete coverage on high-value stored goods.
A storage trailer is a dock-height trailer body used as stationary, on-site storage, perfect when you need a lot of square footage and easy loading dock access. They are popular with retail, distribution, manufacturing, and seasonal operations that need overflow space without building square footage.
We offer storage trailers from 28′ up to 53′, with 28′, 40′, 45′, 48′, and 53′ all available. The 53′ is the workhorse for maximum capacity, while shorter trailers fit tighter yards. Your rep will help you balance capacity against the space you have to park it.
Our storage trailers are designed to keep contents protected from the elements, and every unit is inspected before delivery. As with any enclosed trailer, condensation can form in humid conditions, so keep goods on pallets or shelving. Tell your rep what you are storing and we will recommend the best setup.
You have three options: rent monthly with no long commitment, lease long-term at a better rate, or purchase the unit outright. Rentals include maintenance, so if anything needs attention during your rental, we handle it. Tell your rep how long you expect to need storage and we will recommend the most cost-effective path. We do have a 3-month minimum period for all rentals.
Yes. We offer high-security locks designed for trailer swing doors and roll-up doors, plus gladhand, kingpin, and other locks that prevent the trailer from being hooked and towed. Ask your rep to add the right security package for your site.
Our storage trailers are built on road-ready chassis, but on-site storage trailers are intended to stay parked. If you need to move it, coordinate with Eagle so it is hauled safely and legally. For trailers you plan to tow on the highway regularly, ask about our road and semi trailers instead.
