When you need serious storage with serious access, the 40-foot double door container delivers. Lockable entry from both ends means your crew can get in and out from either side without shifting everything around to reach what they need. Nearly 2,400 cubic feet of weathertight, heavy-duty steel storage, ready for tools, equipment, materials, or inventory. Perfect for high-traffic job sites where time and efficiency matter.

Double-Sided Entry Doors on both ends of the container give you two independent access points. Open one end, the other, or both at the same time depending on your workflow. No more digging through inventory to reach what is at the back.
Drive-Through Capability With doors at each end, the container functions as a pass-through tunnel, making it ideal for use as a covered walkway, a staging area between two work zones, or a drive-through loading setup on busy job sites.
Heavy-Duty Steel Construction Built with the same reinforced corrugated steel exterior and marine-grade plywood floor as our standard 40ft containers, freshly painted and built for demanding, long-term use.
Weather-Sealed and Secure Fully sealed against rain, wind, pests, and extreme temperatures so your contents stay protected no matter what, with secure locking on both ends via our 13lb Eagle Lock.
Access What You Need Without Unpacking Everything One of the biggest frustrations with standard containers is having to move items at the front to reach what is stored in the back. Double doors solve that problem entirely. Open the opposite end and go straight to what you need.
Speeds Up Loading and Unloading Two entry points mean two crews, two forklifts, or two workflows can operate simultaneously. On high-volume job sites or in fast-paced distribution environments, that efficiency adds up quickly.
More Versatile Than a Standard Container Use it purely for storage, as a covered pass-through between buildings, or as a temporary sheltered walkway on a construction site. The double-door design opens up use cases that a single-door unit simply cannot support.
Secure on Both Ends Our 13lb Eagle Lock works on both door sets, so you are not trading security for convenience. Add Contents Insurance or a Damage Waiver for complete protection on whatever you store inside.
Yes. Every storage container ships with factory vents for basic airflow. If humidity’s a concern, we can add louvered vents (usually two to four, placed on opposite sides for cross-breeze) or turbine (whirlybird) vents cut into the roof to actively pull heat and moisture out.
Structurally, yes — shipping containers are built to stack nine high when fully loaded. On a rental unit, stacking requires written approval from Eagle Leasing and proper stacking equipment, since moving and securing containers vertically is a specialized operation. If stacking is part of your plan, talk to your sales rep.
Storage containers and office containers are available across every branch. Storage trailers, road trailers, office trailers, flatbeds, and specialty units (open side, high cubes, modified units) are stocked at select branches based on regional demand. When you request a quote, we’ll confirm what’s available at the branch closest to your site — and coordinate transfers from another branch when we need to.
Eagle Locks are built mainly for storage containers and for swing (barn door) trailers. For overhead roll-up doors on trailers, a different style of lock (typically a puck-style hockey lock) is the right call. Ask your sales rep and we’ll match the right lock to the door type.
We don’t transport loaded containers. Any container moved by our trucks has to be empty. If you need to relocate a loaded container, you’ll need to empty it before we pick it up — or arrange separate specialty transport.
Every container has a place for you to attach your own padlock. You can use any commercial padlock, but we strongly recommend our 13-pound heavy-duty Eagle Locks for serious protection. Standard padlocks are easy targets. A proper container lock makes a real difference in whether your contents stay where you put them.
